Alternative Living Solutions is now accepting referrals for young men and women ages 15 1/2 to 21 through Children, Youth and Family Services and the Juvenile Court System.

 

Privately funded placements are welcome!

Transitional Living Facilities for young people learning to care for themselves

Alternative Living Solutions ~ Broad Street Apartments

 

 

Alternative Living Solutions is committed to developing innovative programming that

challenges and enhances community supports for the youth and families we serve.

                                       

Males between the ages of 15 1/2 & 21

womans_facilityAlternative Living Solutions/Broad Street Apartments offers programs for males between the ages of 15 1/2 to 21, for Transitional Living. These programs focus on the individual needs of the youth in a community setting, providing them opportunity to live and learn social, emotional, independent skills and job skill sets throughout the youth's stay. Education is provided through the Greensburg Salem School District for those youth pursuing a high school degree.  GED classes and testing is administered by the Private Industry Council.  College classes can be accessed at a number of local institutions. Youth have the opportunity to gain employment in the community.  There is public transportation and access to many local public programs and parks.
